History of the Keith® Walking Floor® Trailer

In the 1950’s Keith Foster, the founder of Keith Walking Floors, moved to Madras, Oregon to start a manufacturing company making agricultural equipment.

In the 1960’s Keith Foster focused on various types of self-loading trailers for crops being grown around Madras, Oregon.

1n the 1970’s Keith Foster’s company Keith manufacturing introduces the first commercially viable moving floor with the Walking Floor name.

In the 1980’s Keith Manufacturing introduces a moving floor that set industry standards for the waste industry, it was capable of unloading a 45’ trailer filled with waste in 3 minutes.

In the 1990’s Keith Manufacturing continues to improve manufacturing with using CNC machining. The goal is a state of the art manufacturing facility producing the most reliable moving floor system in the world.

In the 2000’s Keith Fosters goal of producing the “Go to Choice” for moving floors continues.

To never stand still always improving production quality and efficiency. Most important, Listening to customers and providing them what they want. Using the Keith Walking Floors in other areas of bulk products around the world.
